Introduction
My name is Laura Carpenter. I live in Milton PA just south of Williamsport. I am a freshman accounting major here at ship. My two favorite pass-times are soccer and reading. My favorite authors are Nicholas Sparks, Sarah Dessen, and Jane Austin. In high school I played soccer for all four years. I was co-captain of my jr. year squad and captain of my senior year team. I'm also a big animal lover. I currently have four dogs at my home, and I volunteer locally at Better Days Animal League here in Shippensburg.

What kinds of dogs? I had a golden retriever growing up named Tessie. I love goldens; they're such a nice breed. Welcome to class!

ReplyDeleteI've played soccer since 1st grade! Also my mom's house is a zoo! She has 2 yellow lab/german shepard mixes who are brother and sister, and 3 cats!
ReplyDeleteTo answer the above questions: I also have a golden retriever named Buck, he is a sweetie. I have a pug named Sadie, a beagle named Murdock (from A-Team), and a puggle named Buddy who was a rescue, he is my baby. As for Better Days, they are an animal Rescue/shelter. The owner is an animal control officer who seizes abused and abandon animals. At the shelter they care for the animal, socialize and rehabilitate them, and adopt them out to permanent homes. They also have several thrift stored in the area so if anyone is going to an ugly sweater party check out the better days thrift store on king street and help out a good cause.
